Date:18.05.2016, 21:55 Members of either OU will have the checkbox on the screen saver tab of the display control panel grayed out, whether their password protect setting is enabled or disabled. Settings the box is checked On resume, display logon screen is grayed out. Password on Wakeup drop down is available or greyed out. Windows XP On resume, password to protect check box located in the Display Properties under the Screen Saver tab is restricted/disabled (greyed out). The most likely cause of this is malware utilizing Group Policy Objects which enforces policies for system settings and/or user account(s) settings. In Display properties, the time limit and the checkbox are greyed out. and uncheck the On resume, password protect box (you ll see it circled).
